Flamtap's 2011 TRD Sport DCSB Build

Creating this thread mostly to keep a running list of stuff I have done to the truck. Also should be nice to have something to look back on.



I will get a half-decent picture eventually.

Mods so far:

Suspension & Engine:

• 2" OME Lift (July 30th, 2016 @ 136 ,829km)
  • 885 coils
  • CS047R Dakar Leaf Packs
  • Nitrocharger Sport 90021 Shocks (Front)
  • Nitrocharger Sport 60091 Shocks (Rear)
  • Carrier Bearing Drop kit
• AFE Pro Dry S drop-in filter

Exterior:

• 265/70/17 Nitto Terra Grapplers
• De-badged and un-stickered
• AVS in-channel window visors
• Plasti-dipped grille emblem

Interior:

• TRD Shift Knob
• LED Dome & Map lights

Maintenance/Services:

• Wheel Alignment (August 5th, 2016 @ 136,985km)
• Oil change and OEM filter (October 7th, 2016 @ 139,484km)

 

First, a moment of silence for my '98 TRD Off-Road (V6 M/T), that fell to the frame rust plague as did many before it. This guy made it to 270,000kms as of April 2016, and never let out so much as a whimper along the way. Well, except for the leaf springs. Those were pretty squeaky.



As my first truck, you'll always have a place in my heart and my memories. Rust in Peace, fella.

And now, introducing its successor... my 2011 TRD Sport DCSB, 4.0L V6 6MT with 132,159km's.
