I've always wanted one of their Broncos but those prices are ridiculous for something you can do yourself with the know how and a little time. Maybe it wouldn't be so "pristine", but it'd have more character and you'd have pride in it if you built it yourself.

They make some cool stuff for sure. I used to think they were overpriced, however i listened to a few podcasts with the founder on it and now i know why they cost so much. So much little detail and cnc work goes into those trucks, facinateing guy and design methodology and a straight up cruiser geek. Could you build one in your garage with the same "parts" for half that, sure, however its all the labor and details that they put into it that racks up the cost. I would never buy one, then again im a cheap ass, but as a automotive geek they are pretty damn cool!

Very true. He is so detail oriented. If I had the money I'd buy one, but I'll never have the money.

Really cool stuff. Custom work costs money, period.

What's the market for these things? Do they hold their value at all?

It seems like their prices are way up there at exotic sports car territory. I'm just wondering if spending 200,000 on a classic Bronco would be a good investment long term like some of those high end sports cars.

But yea, there's other ways to put a solid axle under a rig :D

My buddy used to work there, took me on a little tour and all I could say was "must be nice" about 100 times.

    Celebrities love these things..
