DSC_0005.jpg DSC_0012.jpg I started looking for a good quality blackout kit for the side doors of my Tacoma that wasn't plastic or flat and the "TACOMA" letters to be separated. All i could find were thin vinyl letters. I decided to make my own, these are made with UV resistant resin topped with matte finish and 3M foam adhesive(same as OEM Badge). To install secure white plastic jig and center each letter(Peel N' Stick). Since Im slightly biased I am looking for 2 members to review my letters, the first 2 people to message me an address(Via Conversation) will recieve samples to review back here. Cheers!DSC_0015.jpg

    Anyone else do this?
I recived mine today. Thanks to @SilverTacos :dancingbacon:
It came well packaged. One "tacoma" for each side, and one template.
    The emblems themselves seem sturdy.
    Larger/longer than the oem emblems.
I will post more pictures and review once I have the time to put them on my truck
. I am hoping to this weekend. This one I just held template close to see the size of new emblems.

Received my set last week, but haven't had a chance to install yet. My initial thoughts on the product are that I like the new font and the letters seem well made with no burrs or janky half-formed edges. One thing I wasn't expecting is that the raised letter are slightly rounded in the raised portions (think bread rising). It was hard to tell from the originally posted pictures, but I thought the edges were angular. Hard to tell, but they still look really good. The short, wide letters are a bit more aesthetically pleasing to me than the stock 2nd gen badges. They are thinner and stretched out more than the 3rd gen badges, but in a similar font. Now I'm second guessing where to put these. Was originally thinking on the doors (same location as stock), but may use a set on the tailgate and possibly the other on the grill. I'll play with the loction a bit until I find something I'm happy with and post pictures. Great work Zach!

Now let's see how long it lasts.
    The template worked really well..
There is a little extra room but I sat my letters at the very bottom of template and kept same reveal on sides.
All in all great product so far..
How much for one more for my tailgate?
Either toyota tacoma or just tacoma?

The last time @SilverTacos was on this site was the 26th of Sept. Did he quit the site after making this? Anyone know if he still around? I see he is from Daytona Beach, Florida, maybe he had to evacuate because of the hurricane. Hopefully he is ok.

Im all good but Yea we got hit pretty hard from the hurricane although i feel like we got lucky, been doing yard work and helping friends and family last few weeks. They still haven't picked up all the brush piled up in our neighborhood.

Thanks @ChemDawg for the review. How did you like the length? too Long, too short, or perfect? I left a little gap on the jig with the intentions to center in middle but aligning from bottom sounds easier!
And @NorilskSever I could do a chrome version, my workshop has some roof damage from the storm, once things go back to normal i'll design them!
