Take it to pepboys there in Annapolis. I took my 91 pickup there when I had my 285's mounted and balanced. No issues whatsoever

Agree on the tire shop is guilty.

Disagree on dealer being a douchebag. They did not screw up your sensors, they do not owe you anything.

Find a tire shop that can reprogram it.

    I did.

It cost me $20 and a half hour.

I'll give them a call tomorrow to see if they can help me out.

I'll call around tomorrow and see if there is anyone in the area that can reprogram them.

    Thank you very much!

Also, Tirerack.com has them for around $60. Those worked in my '16 after I had them programed in by the dealer. What I learned afterwards was that a tire shop can program them in as a '15 Camry for about 1/2 the cost of a dealership.

I can get the part number if you need it.

FWIW, Tirerack.com was excellent to deal with. I used a recommended installer and they totally botched my sensor programming. Tirerack refunded the money I paid the installer when they couldn't program my sensors. It was after the fact I learned of the '15 Camry trick.

Thank you all. I'll use all this information and try and solve this issue without having to go to the dealership. Sounds like I should definitely be able to get this resolved for less than $400.... even if all TPMS need to be replaced @ $60 each.

Not trying to be negative Nancy here but don't forget about labor to break them down again to install new TPMS if that is the route you have to go.

Did you go through the reset process as explained in your manual? You don't just push the button. It can take quite some time for the pressures to show up so if you did indeed reset them correctly give it a few (or more) days. Good luck.

I did reset it per the manual instructions. It said it should come on after 10 or so miles at 25+ mph, which I did (and significantly more). It will be a few days until I have a resolution due to my upcoming work schedule anyway, so I'll see if it comes back on during that time.

Sorry. awhile isn't doesn't answer much. I had to drive about 30 miles. Same for wife's Macan. If that doesn't work you have different issues than I did.

Easy fix... 1...Fill all tires to correct pressure...... Then, 2.... very carefully place a 3/4" round piece of black electrical tape over the TPMS light in the dash.......3....Enjoy...!!

You should be checking the tire pressure yourself periodically anyway, so no big deal, RIGHT..?? ;)
This is how I deal with winter tires with NO sensors in the winter ..!! Works for me, and saved me a lot of $$$$

Sometimes all this technology is easy to get caught up in... just step back and say... "Is this really necessary"..??

Me thinks "Not really"...!! It's just a reason to make YOU pay more for a vehicle...!..
    OP,...I hope you find a reasonable solution..!!:canada:

Oh trust me, the primary reason I'm getting it fixed is to get rid of the light on the dash. I've gone my whole life without an electronic tire pressure sensor... I think I would continue to survive just fine without it.

That being said, I reached a middle ground with the dealership today and they are willing to resolve the issue for $160. It's going in next Friday. Will update then.
