    Toyota has thought of everything! Just dropped 40 lbs worth of metal, it was only holding me back, so glad to see it go! Sway bar is thrown out back and other side mount will be cut off and plated this weekend. I should gain a few mpg don't ya think?

    It was hiding from my inspection when I bought it 6 months ago, the sway bar mount hides it very nicely. I work in the woods for a living and a lot of flexing the suspension took its toll on this high quality steel. According to Toyota their magical undercoating prior to 2012 would have prevented this!

    It looks worse than it is. The hole is from the sway bar mount. The rest of the metal is still attached to the sway bar
