Looks doable, just need a molding remover! Now to find me a knob. Oh it only comes in red. That won't work, I have black and orange leather interior. What about a 15 trd pro, they only came in inferno. Maybe they had a cool shift knob that would work!

Looking at these tires as well, please report on how much road noise they have once you get them on.

Will do. Check out the reviews on Coopers website. That was one of my concerns but the reviews mention how quiet they are.

Added the OEM Cast Aluminum Running boards today, as well as deciding where to place my Scosche Magic Mount. I first tried the mount on top of the dash trim but didn't like it. Fortunately I had a role of VHB tape from a prior project so relocating it was easy.

Running board install was pretty simple, though it was handy that I had a low range torque wrench since it called for 10Nm and 22.5Nm torque values. They extend out enough to provide some door ding protection which is my reason to buy them. They do require stepping onto them when entering and exiting else I drag a calf on them at my 5'9" height. No biggie since that's how I did it when I had my Jeep Wrangler.

I will have Inferno trim overlays for the TRD PRO knob soon.

Your truck is black, the black Tacomas do not come with the vinyl between the front and back windows.

I just saw your post from this morning Magalahi. So that hypertech calibrator might be causing the 4 wheel drive light to flash. Doesn't make sense. It just chages the speed right before the speedo. I will pass the info along though. At this point we have a $350 ECM on order! Which he doesn't think that they did anything to blow it!

I was a lab manager for LensCrafters for several years. Glass is a natural UV inhibitor and Transitions lenses require UV light to change colors.

So pretty much what I said originally.. The glass itself blocks UV.

Yes and no. Glass tends to block UVB yes, but not UVA. However, windshields have the plastic laminate layer in the middle which does block UVA to a large extent. You're still at risk from your side windows.

    See this article: http://healthland.time.com/2011/06/21/study-driving-may-contribute-to-left-side-skin-cancers/
tl;dr version: higher skin cancer rates on the left arm among drivers in right-side drive countries, opposite in left-side drive countries.

Not really what I'm getting at here. Someone earlier claimed that the standard glass in autos doesn't block any UV light. It does block some and enough to prevent transition lenses from turning dark... Regardless of if the sun is direct or not. Yes you will block however much with tint, but to say that no UV is blocked by the standard glass is wrong.

Little tree air fresheners. Clazzio black leather seat covers.
Added one of those so "useless" K&N air intakes! Smiles per gallon went up that's for sure. She's a little louder then expected. But the smile while driving is bigger. Also added in channel vent visors.

No worries, I was just clarifying since nobody had yet differentiated UVA and UVB.

Anyone who's ever owned transitions lenses knows they don't work worth a darn inside a car. :D

Yeah pretty much. I've been wearing them for years. I'd considered putting a uv light in my vehicles until I just gave up and bought actual prescription sunglasses.

I was playing around with a sea-sense fishing rod/tool holder today.
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000F3NYOG/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I was going to mount it to the bed rail with these T-slot nuts
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00DVTPN7W/ref=ya_st_dp_summary
It looked nicer mounted with bolts but the tonneu did not have clearance to close so it ended up being allot easier to just use a tie down with the bed cleats to hold it in place. Goes on and off in a minute and fits behind the rear seat. Pretty sweet!!

In a couple weeks I'm gonna re-take this pic on the beach instead of in front of this Palo Verde tree:thumbsup::cheers:
