Fellow group buy #2 folks. I just got mine this past week and was curious how everyone was painting theirs. I'm going with the rustoleum method, steel primer and bed liner. However, I was wondering for those of you going that route, are you sanding off the "rust" looking leftover on the steel or is there a chemical I should use before priming it?

Handprints? Yeah it's humid here lol. Light sanding. Primer. Beeline then go over with a semi gloss. Bedline rattle can seems to dual or stain from mud

Question on fog lights. What is everyone using for fog lights, besides the stock ones? Are you using a spot or flood pattern? Got to get some this week from Amazon.

If you want to drop some coin, check out the ones from rigid industries. They're SAE/DOT legal so you can run them on the road. If not, just get some floods.

Rigids are nice, but I don't want to spend that kind of coin. I'll look for an alternative flood, kind of figured thats what you wanted for a fog light.

Here's a good ad for you to use at my expense lol parked on the street drunk driver took out my neighbors carolla and then my taco. Bumper might be slightly bent my tail light is popped out a little I'll check it out in the am. Only thing on the bumper that appears to be damaged is the handle. But I can't say the same for my leaf spring, fox resi shock, drive shaft alignment and god knows what else. Also not pictured he went so far under my truck my tire on the back smashed his windshield and ripped his hood off the car lol
