I still prefer the plexiglass windshield concept, I do think the drivers need more front and side protection, but I just don't like the halo. Maybe they can install propellers on it to generate electricity and make the cars more green.

 

I actually prefer the Halo concept to the Aeroscreen , you can still see the driver

 

They are both equally ugly. Lipstick on a pig so to speak

 

the lipstick comment was regarding the post with colored halos. Should have made that clearer

 

Visually , the livery coloured halos pretty much disappear into the car , I bet especially at speed , when compared to say the black halo on the Ferrari

I wonder if they will be able to reduce the size of the pylon and bars a bit in the final design

 

The Halo test rigs were steel but I'm not sure whats planned for the actual installation piece
