    Hey guys,
I've been doing a lot of research on doing a 3" suspension lift to my Taco. I want this lift to look clean and maximize performance, so give me your opinion on what you would choose. This is what I've narrowed it down to...

    Option 1:

    $250.00 Lift Kit: http://www.roughcountry.com/toyota-suspension-lift-kit-745n2.html

    $350.00 Shocks: https://www.amazon.com/Bilstein-Toy...669030&sr=8-1&keywords=bilstein+5100's+tacoma

-Now option 1 is a bit unusual as I will be tweaking it a little. First of all I want to make sure it will look flush and clean with having the option of adjustable front end suspension on the shocks. Do I throw on this lift on then adjust the front end shocks to 1" or just leave them as they come? Also, I will be replacing those rear shocks that come with the lift with the Bilstein set. I would prefer to do option 1 as it is cheaper, however, I am concerned about the way it will turn out visually and also if I would be losing performance potential (spacers instead of coil overs).

    Option 2:

    $920.00 Kit: http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com...with-Bilstein-5100-Front-Coilovers_p_364.html

-This option would be the cleaner of the two, but I would be paying an extra $200 on top of it. I would keep this kit together and modify nothing.

    Thanks for your input!

Definitely don't do Option 1 unless you wanna replace everything all over again in a few years.

Option 2 is minimum for a 3in lift... but it will be a harsh ride...

Look into Bilstein 5100s, OME 886x/887x, and LR UCA for the front for a 3in lift. UCA is a must to get a good amount of Caster so the truck tracks straight and doesn't wonder.

Look into a whole new leaf pack to get your 3in.. or you can go with a Bilstein 5100s 2in ALL and airbags.

If you money is the problem, i would wait and get it all done once. Do it once, do it right.
