so I installed spc Lr uca 25480 which technically is labeled 4Runner/fj cruiser , had someone tell me parts were identical to Tacoma ones so I took a gamble , i wasn't able to attach the copper pin where the spindle connects to the uca , am I good with loctite or is that something 100% necessary ? Also I noticed my tire started to rub near the fender , it didn't with stock ucas , can I assume this has to do with the alignment ?? I'm running 285 so I've heard that the mount chop was necessary , I was under the impression the Lr ucas would eliminate that

Safety wire it where the pin was and get an alignment and see if you still rub. prob will have to cut cmc

What worries me more is the uca coming apart on the highway , don't really off-road other than light dirt roads nothing crazy

Safety wire would do the same thing as that cotter pin. If that's your only problem, safety wire should fix it. I cant comment as to whether or not the 4runner/FJ UCAs work on a taco.
