Regear update, well he pulled the whole dash apart today to get ready to install a new ECM next week when it arrives. I told him well he has the dash apart to unplug the Hypertech calibrator and see if it made any difference which he tried but it didn't work so it is not the Hypertech calibrator causing the problem. He called especially to tell me he wanted to make sure we were on the same page as in, he's got a s*** ton of extra hours into this job and money now with payingToyota to run a scan and ordering this module and checking to see if the Hypertech was not working correctly. I told him none of that is on my dime as far as I know everything worked when he got the truck I don't know what happened to cause all these problems. Sorry that he has to eat this, but that it was not on me. Am I the only one with all these issues? I don't think I could go through this again and definitely don't plan on it! I have sure run into some major issues and obstacles during these mods on my truck! :sadviolin:

    Pretty stock for now
That sucks, you are one of the members I was waiting to hear results from so I could make my decision on when I want to do gears. Mine should be a lot less complicated since I am just 2WD. Also, aren't you the one having your work done by Just Differentials?

I personally like these ones. They are pretty low profile and install couldn't be simpler.
    Amazon for under $50.00
    I'm pleased!

Took delivery! A little over 6 weeks from deposit to delivery. Not bad.

17' TRDOR DCSB Prem & Tech (no JBL) + Tow Package. No other accessories. Exactly how I wanted it.

So much planned -- just enjoyed taking a nice drive with the SO tonight.

Unfortunately have to park it out on the street until the damn acorns stop falling onto my side of the driveway :bananadead:

Actually a different shop put the lift on. He didn't do anything wrong, but we had rubbing with the sway bar links, and it became an ongoing nightmare trying to figure out what to do, ended up buying smaller tires and putting spacers on.

I'm sure hoping this EMC that he's waiting on does the trick next wee, because he is pretty much out of ideas and probably out of patience with my truck! And I really don't want to get back a truck with no 4 wheel drive!:annoyed:

Worst case you have the dealer fix it and hand him the bill

Meant to say ECM! I talked with the dealer he brought it to yesterday, this morning. What a prick! I personally wouldn't have brought it there, but it was the closest for him! He acted like he never seen a lifted truck before and said there was no way they were warrantying anything! What a little jealous, prius driving womans bathroom using petty little man!

Ask for that in writing, it'll never happen. They have to prove the lift caused failure. Now the fact it's been re geared voided your warranty on your axles as a whole without a doubt. Bearings, seals, shafts, carrier, literally everything. If they attempt to say they wont warranty your stereo (if it were to fail) for arguments sake, ask for it in writing. It's illegal ;)

This service writer "Jason" had no idea what a regear was or what it entails! He said they don't do that there and it should all go back to stock and everything would work!:infantry:

Actually on the way to drop it off last week I tried to use my nav, and the the lady voice on the other end would not respond to anything I said so for some reason it is not hearing me I guess. So I might be asking for that in writing because I'm probably going to have to have one of the dealerships figure out why it's not working properly unless it's possibly driver error because I'm not very good with that stuff.
