What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Thanks, wish I had a better picture of the logo. I designed it with a girl at a local print shop, then she got it to Katzkin and they embroidered it! Turned out nice. A guy that rents a building from us installed them. Traded out a month rent.

 

For what it's worth I now have a lot more time to hang out and work in the man cave. The garage is nice now that all the sports equipment and bikes are gone. The down side is instead of working on a project car now I use my space to work on their cars.

Lol, I believe it. I still have like 5 bicycles, 4 skateboars, couple 2 wheel scooters, a pogo stick!

 

I got my hood struts in the mail yesterday. If I ever get my truck back, I will install them!

 

What lift did you use?

 

Make sure you have a push rivet tool.

 

Should be standard equipment

 

Just 3" spacers up front with stock springs and struts, 2.5" blocks in the back with 5100s. Can't run more than 1" with OEM shocks in the back.

 

What model number did you get and what app did you use?

 

I do have a rivet tool, and checked it with the rivets. It seems to be the right size. I am always afraid it's going to slip out of my right hand when trying to prop it and slam on my left or on the proping rod! I think I will like the struts.

 

Another user recommended it, its rustoleum and the Khaki color.

 

Drove it 789 miles on the second leg of the cross country trip. Getting average of 22 mpg which seems good considering I am tote n an extra 500 lbs of stuff and doing 70 mph set cruise control. Truck is running perfect. Not looking forward to cleaning off all the bugs outta the grille

 

Love the stories Honey, when I got my Tacoma in may I told people that it would last until the estate sale.

BlazingBlueSport - Hint: At your next stop buy a can of PAM and spray the entire front end
(less windshield)and those bugs will come right off and not hurt your paint. Years of dealing
with Florida's Love Bugs provides a wealth of experience! Incidentally, the PAM will also soften
the bugs you've already collected and although I don't like automatic car washes, using a
touchless car wash will get rid of most of the bugs and the PAM. Reapply before doing any
more excursions into bugland. . .
