I'm trying to find some cheap black steel rims for my 2001 4x4 ext cab Tacoma(5-speed). I've been looking at the pro comp series, but I hear that people are having trouble clearing the calipers on the 2001s. If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it. And please leave link to any products mentioned. Thanks.

Cannot really help you there, I have 16". I have heard that though. I just noticed you have started a few threads asking this question with no luck, so I would go in the thread I posted or others and just ask around there as there are some guys running aftermarket 15's and would have some experience for ya. Good luck.

I'm new to this whole forum thing so it takes me a while to find my way around. Can you link a few of your posts or any others that I could ask on please? Thanks.

I mean, how about 17" fj steelies. I'm rocking them. No issues with back spacing. Also, there are a ton of offroad tire options for the 17" rim.

    Check Build thread
If you go 15” you cannot ever go to the tundra conversion and in some cases may cause interference. I went with 16s
