I have the same jack in 48, also unused. I would swap. Normally in Vancouver but I am working in Squamish for a couple of weeks. As I am staying in Squamish we would need to swap on the weekend.

Hey Peter, I woke up with second thoughts about this swap idea. I do like the 60" lift, and had it mounted (very conveniently) off one of my bed rails, but that space will now be used by a custom storage/drawer solution I'm working on, and I'm considering sleeping on the other side of the bed, so finding a good spot for the 60" version is tough, thus the initial desire to swap down for a 48", which will give me more options.

That said, I do think the 60" is the more versatile version of the jack and I'd like to keep it if I can find a good mounting/storage solution for it. It will likely take me a couple more weeks to wrap up the storage/drawer project, at which point I'll have a better idea of what the final mounting/storage options look like, and I'll make a call (swap or no swap) at that point. I'll shoot you a PM when that happens. And meeting somewhere closer (or even in) Squamish is no problem.

No worries! I went threw the same process, decided on the 48, and then came up with a simple way to store it and now wish I had the longer jack.

My job ends soon and I will be back in Vancouver.

I have bigger Tacoma problems. I totalled mine a few weeks ago. I am waiting on ICBC to pay me out so I can find another truck.

Let me know if you change your mind. Or if you know of any good trucks for sale.

Hey @PeterVICEG, I've come to the conclusion that yes, I do want the shorter 48" version.

I also had a closer look at my hi-lift and noticed some light scratches from vibration/rubbing. Minor, IMO, but in the interest of full disclosure, it's not quite the brand-new condition I described in the original post...

Let me know if you're still interested in a swap.
