Hows everyone this evening. Hopefully good. So I just bought my Tacoma a couple months ago, havnt even got 2000 miles on it. I'm having a rattle/vibration in the door/left side. It will be going back to the dealer for service when time comes, but this noise is driving me crazy being that it's a new truck. Anyone having the same issues? If so, any suggestions. Thanks

I have the same noise, I've tried the toothpicks, wedging the tray in the glove box you name it. It sounds like a metal on metal noise coming from somewhere on the left side of the truck in the cab! Driving me nuts

Yea for a brand new truck it sucks. Took mine to the dealer yesterday. They said it's the rubber seal on the door. He said a few of em have come in to be replaced. Said it will fix it. Guess the air coming in around the door seal is making it sound that way. Hopefully Monday or Tuesday I can get it fixed. I'll update, better solve the problem or in six months I'll just trade it and get a tundra lol.

I hear you, it sounds good. Let us know if that fixes it, I keep thinking that its a seat mount, or a door piece.

That's what I was thinking maybe a door piece. I'll definitely update though!

So they replaced the door seal,?still doing it. They are blaming it on the vent visors. Does yours have vent visors?

So upon driving the truck a bit more, the more BASS in a song the more I can hear the rattle in the door. I have leaned a bit more towards something in the actual panel rattling....

I would take it to the dealership and let them take the panel off and just let em check it out.

jca1386 This sounds just like what I had... I thought my speaker was blown at first, but I noticed the sound was coming from under my switch panel.(song with bass squeese panel does the sound go away?) It was a simple fix, I got some 1/4" foam tape and put it around the underside edge.. No more rattle and clean sounding bass:cheers:

Good deal! And they also have a new software update for the transmission. Something about delayed transmission or something. Ima have em do mine soon. They say it reacts better after the update.
