    Haha, but yes some do have the EGR system, and I'm one of them,
    The early v6 Tacoma did have them,
    FYI the supercharger actually makes the engine run much cleaner
    for emission then a non supercharged engine,
    And my grey charger is black now, with TRD RED ACCENT

    You engine will not be affected as far as life goes by the superchager as long as you maintain it,
    and yes the larger injectors will help a lot but not necessary unless you're running a smaller pulley , My engine lasted 489,000 miles before a head gasket
    went out and I am the original owner all supercharged miles with a 2.1 pulley and NO tuning, So I replaced the old engine with a Low mileage 2004 engine.

    Yeah I read about it yesterday. My buddy who blew up his engine with the S/C now has a 2012 Taco w/ a S/C and took it to the dunes and blew up another engine w/ 32,000 miles. He said the TRD air filter sucks since he sucked up a bunch of sand in his motor and it seized up. So obviously it's not the S/C. Also he likes to jump his truck over the dunes in his Tacoma that has Fox 2.0 coilovers in the front w/32's and when he landed, it stripped all the threads on the coil over! Oops! When I made the quote about the S/C blowing up my buddy's motor which happened over 10 years ago. I didn't know that much about S/C's or trucks in general. But after being on this forum and doing a lot of mods to my truck. I now know way more info and how everything works. It the owner of the truck and how they take care of it. That's what depends on how long your truck will last. I only have 247,000 miles on my 3.4 but it runs better now then when I got it.

    Yea somethings wrong, as you know high speed did my rebuild and I'm at 6000 feet with 2.1 pulley and pushing 8 pounds of boost or so,
    So your sure the pulley is not slipping?? The key is in good shape and torqued to specs, my old 2.1 pulley actual wore out the key slot and I had to get a new pulley.
    Look at the TRD pulley and see if there is any wobble in it from the side while running.
    Why did you switch to the 2.2 pulley from the 2.1 pulley? You know you loose 3 pounds of boost by doing that

    Yeah idk it might be slipping but I can't tell. Tensioner is nearly new and so is the belt

    So your sure the TOP TRD 2.2 pulley is not slipping?? The key is in good shape and torqued to specs? my old 2.1 pulley actual got worn out in the key slot by the shaft and I had to get a new 2.1 pulley.

    I doubt it's the pulley. It's all torqued and installed by high speed. I switched because I thought maybe because the 2.1 was smaller that's why the boost was low and slipping. Also had a hard time tuning with the 2.1

    Ok if they installed it then it's fine, maybe put the 2.1 pulley back on and see if the boost is the same before the rebuild then.

    No it almost always stays at the same number even at rev limiter wot. Usually either stays at 6 or 7

    How can you hear it slip? Is it squealing, I don't think u would hear it if it was slipping. I have
    never hear mine slip and I know it used to before I put on the lower tensioner for the belt.
    Maybe it's the AC belt you hear. Maybe the boost guage is not showing the full
    boost from a vacuum leak in the line? Or connection?
    Maybe you have a bad belt, or poor quality belt because I put a new belt that was not
    from Toyota on my super charger right after it was rebuilt and the dam thing
    broke 3,000 miles after it was installed, that was a first. So Replaced it with a belt from Toyota, cuz the belt should
    last 50,000 to 100,000 or so depending on how hard you run the charger. I would lake the belt off and look at it
    for burn marks or slipping wear marks and probably just replace it since it cost 20.00 or so,
    Check every vacuum hose with carb cleaner, all it takes is a small vacuum leak
    and the charger will not run correctly. Everything has to be perfectly In sync for
    the supercharger to be running its best, this I know.
    I know a lot of maybe questions,

    If it is slipping, your boost guage will show erratic boost and not consistent boost and your saying you have consistent boost.

    The valet is a brand new gates bet and I just had it off and it looks good still. Hmm it could be be the ac or ps belt but they feel tight to me. I've tried moving the alternator all around and that changed nothing. Also tried belt dressing and that changed nothing so maybe it isn't slip.
    Sometimes I hear a weird whistle type sound. It's super hard to explain but it's not straight up squeal butbkinda has a squeal/whistle sound to it. The sound used to be very loud before I replaced the tensioner so I thought slip. Others in ca are getting 9psi with this same pulley. I have verified the boost with the 7th so the boost gauge is ok. Also it idles at -20 vac so I thought that would indicate no leaks. I will still check though

    I know urd took there spec u exhaust system for the taco off there web site to redesign it. The one you have a pic of is there mk3 system. I would imagine they put it back on there site soon.

    I've never actually seen the Spec U system, but having the URD 4x4 Ypipe, I can say it does cross in front of the trans crossmember like in the picture, and not behind it

    A better picture, the only part of the exhaust that dips below the frame is the tip of the resonator only by a inch maby a little less.
