I'm considering going back to the original shop. The first install was mobile in my work parking lot. If they do it in their shop, it will probably turn out better. Plus, that shop is local, I know the owner and they care about their reputation.

I'm reluctant of Safelite because they do one man installs and I think they're paid by the job. They probably have some great installers and some not-so-great installers.

Sorry I missed your meetup. Ended up with my own list of things I needed to get done.

Try Jim at Glass-Pros in Portsmouth.

People have been pulling some nice large mouth bass out lately. There are some great stripers there. My daughter is one of the park attendants!

Not bad. 2-3lb'ers max. I only go because you can rent a boat, battery, and trawler motor for $30/day. I hear the best local bass fishing (and rock fishing) is in the Western Branch Reservoir.

If you end up going, get a bag of these:

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004XGFHTG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Not 3 weeks ago I was throwing them at the shore then bouncing them back to the boat. Caught 6 12"-14" in about two hours, every hit was on the initial cast.

Day late and a dollar short on this reply. Been out of town since last week. No internet connection. To answer the questions it was Kempsville Lakes neighborhood. The lake over ran the street on both sides. The streets in the back of the neighborhood were much worse. Don't know if Kempsville Greens had much flooding. Larkspur area had several streets that were temporarily flooded. Watched a few helpless souls drive into the water then stop get out and walk around the car. One got back in and tried to driv off. Didn't make it very far before the car died.

I used to live in that kempsville lakes town home neighborhood. Sold it a couple months ago now. I saw video of that and glad I was out of there in time.

Yeah ive always heard decent things about it. Never knew stripers were in there though.

You can also rent boats at Little Creek Reservoir in Toano. Western Branch is pretty big but definitely a good place to fish.

Sounds good. Do you kayak bass fish anywhere else?

Hey guys, wanted to see if any one has a 4.56 elocker third in the 757 that wants to trade for 4.10 locker third. Just trying to save some money rather than regearing completely.

    Possible meetup, Oct 15th

I ordered the parts to do my timing belt/water pump replacement.

Does anyone else have mods to do?

If anyone can bring one, I could use an impact wrench.

PM for address, I'll hopefully be starting by 8am, my 4Runner could be an all day project. I'll be using my neighbors driveway and there's plenty of room to park on the street.

    Cross posting on 4Runner forums

What are you looking for? Ramey Built will fab you anything from headers to exhaust, tig welded, and probably the best exhaust welds I've seen in a while. But you will be paying for it. My 3" exhaust (catalytic converter on back) cost about $1000.

I purchased all the exhaust components and did a DIY install about a year ago, I just want to get it checked for leaks that may have come up since then.
