    Love your AC man,

Been gone too long again... Work is crazy and satellite internet sucks! Trucks been parked and parts done been sittin' for while now.

    Anyways... I missed this place.

I have like 3 months of shit to catch up on. What did I miss??

Im driving down to go do a little work on it this weekend. Ill take some pictures. It isnt THAT cool, but it does have some sentimental value to it.

haha yeah. That one time I tried to run my Coax to the opposite side of the truck and couldn't reach... well, I sold the brand new bracket I bought to @NCTacoma when you graciously sent me your DIY.

Help anyone? SCS F5 3.5" in: Gun Metal or Matte Black

Leaning towards GMG. Worried the Black will be too much. Thoughts?

Either one is great. If I had to choose, I'd do the gray.

That's my AC in the pics there!

Did you go 3.5 or 4.5?

The 3.5 BS is very nice to have. I currently run 255/85/16 KM2's.

The downside is you will rub in places you won't with the 4.5 (While running 255's). It's minor, but something to factor in. BUT, you can't beat the stance. And the wheels are crazy light too.

Nice truck man! Haha. It came up in a google search. I went 3.5". Where do you rub? What is your castor set at?

With 255s and the 3.5BS F5s I was able to get rid of the rubbing by setting my alignment to 3.5 or 4 degrees caster. I did already have the cab mount chop done though.

It is the cab mount and pinch weld that get you with that wheel. Now that I have 285s I have bent the pinch weld completely flat, cut the cab mount even with the firewall, and set my alignment as close to 4 degrees caster as possible. I also have fiberglass fenders too so the OEM little inner fender doesn't get in my way.

I currently have +3.5(ish). I rub on the cab mount, which rubs slightly at full flex and during certain driving conditions... Before I adjusted my caster, I managed to pop off a front fender (hence why there are currently no fenders on the truck).

So, I would recommend you max out your caster if you haven't already done so.

Haven't done the pinch weld as @zscott has mentioned, but it's on the to-do list.

Yep, popped my fenders off too with the 285s when I was in Moab for Rock Therapy. That prompted the fiberglass fenders. Shouldn't be as bad though with 255s
