Sway bar keeps coming loose

    Ok so recently had my 6" procomp stage 1 installed. After posting pics of it on here I was told that my sway bar was backwards.. so I flipped the bar, now on the drivers side the top of the sway bar link will not stay tight! Last about 10 miles then its loose and I have to retighten and it rattles like crazy when loose. Anyone know why??? 1st pic is with it backwards, 2nd pic is when I flipped the bar. Thanks!!!

    So the nut is backing itself off the endlink bolt after you drive for a little while?

    Looking at a friends truck his sway bar is like my 1st pic, didn't read anything about it's supposed to be flipped once lifted??

    I am not sure I am just 100 percent positive that the sway bar is meant to go the other way.... A LOT of shops have put there sway bars on like this thinking it was the correct way but if you talk to pro comp it is suppose to be the other way. some guys will experience worse steering because of it being on backwards.

    I think that nut is supposed to be somewhere in the ballpark of 59ft-lbs. I just messed with mine yesterday. If you torque it down and it's legit backing itself out, I would try 1. Blue Loctite or 2. Replacing the endlink on that side.

    honestly call pro comp tell them your situation I guarantee this has happened before I bet they can tell you a perfect fix for it

    With the sway bar flipped I don't think it's allowing the link end to sit flush to the nuckle which makes you not able to tighten all the way..

    you could just go with some 6112s or kings/icons and just take that sway bar off... :mudding:
