I noticed I had a break light out so I bought a new bulb and replaced it. While replacing it I put the grease on the bulb connector and still had quite a bit left in the little tear off package so I pulled the other bulbs in the housing and greased them as well. It appears that the previous owner didn't believe in bulb grease so the turn signal bulb was corroded to the back piece and it pulled out with the bulb. I put it back together and it now works intermittently. Can I replace just the socket for the turn signal or do i need to replace the whole housing? Where can these parts be found? Thanks for any help.

I read your post and don't have any ideas other than to go to a junk yard and get a replacement for the entire assembly. Make sure you check the condition of all the sockets beforehand. Perhaps somebody else could help out - I can't believe you are the only one with this problem. Good luck!

Check the backside where the ground attaches to the housing. I had an intermittent brake light issue and it turned out the ground wasn't making great contact.

If you wanted a new connector, I know Dorman makes replacement pigtails for light sockets. Oreillys and Autozone should have them.
