I haven't done it, but I've been exploring SoCal trails so I'd love to hear about it!

Indian truck trail is fun too if you haven't done that one. It's a pretty good drive to the top of saddleback. It will take a couple hours to get to the top and back.

I believe it connects because on the way out I took the Indian trail. I thought it was like a one way trail.

Ohh looks great!! I might have to check this out!

Has anyone done Rattle Snake Canyon Trail? http://www.rattlesnakecanyontrail.com I'm thinking of doing one night in Joshua Tree, then driving the trail up to big bear, one night there, and then back home.

I was thinking of maybe going up through the Maple Springs gate if it's open. I have never explored any of the trails in and around that area. Where do you enter the North Main Divide trail at?

Just drove this trail with my wife. Not hard at all but very fun to get up that high. We entered from Silverado Canyon and exited by some homes off the 15. Hilarious popping out of the hills and riding next to guys in golf carts to exit the trail.

Is the silverado entrance the same as Maple Springs? Is the trail system self explanatory or do I need a map?

Pretty much self explanatory. If you have a gps system, the trail should be on there. I used it as it was my first time on the trail. Love the scenery.

Yes that's the same entrance. The route is basically up and if you just keep following the main trail up you will land in an open area. To the west there is trail that goes towards the towers. We didn't go that way but from what I understand it just ends there. If you go east (left) towards Corona the trail leads down. We just stayed on the main trail and headed down and we got out fine.
