I was able to correct the Whistling noise by using trim on the fins, but I still have a loud wind an harmonic vibration has anyone found a way to correct this. I know this is where the sarcasm comes in, what do you expect when you put a 50-inch flat surface on the top of your windshield/roof

Mine drives me insane. Everything so far has been temporary fixes. Many times, I've considered yanking it off. Currently I covered the whole heat sink in gorilla tape, and it's pretty quiet now (not thrilled about the prospect of melted adhesive getting on my roof though). Previously I had some of that foam that goes arround residential ac lines wedged in between the bar in the windshield. Quiet, but that kept making water collect on the roof.

Eta: I have a single row on the jeep that does not make noise. I think the thicker heat sink doesn't vibrate from the wind.

Lol! Well at least I'm not alone, thanks for the response. Have you completely blocked off the flow of air under the light bar with the pipe insulation.

Yeah when the foam was there it compleetly blocked the flow of air between the windshield and bar.

I had to do the same with putting gorilla tape on the bottom half of the heat sink across the light bar. No more noise from my curved 50"

I also used some black duct tape on the lower fins, went from an unbearable howl to silent, I tried a few other methods like bending the fins, and some door trim, but nothing did the trick except for the tape, been about 6 months and I should probably go out and replace tape (will take 3 minutes)... I used generic black duct tape, Im sure gorilla tape would last longer. I thought it would be an eye soar but I don't even notice it.
