Btw this would be mainly a daily driver and maybe a few small trails here and there. Nothing too major. Also, I'm trying not to break the bank.

It all depends on how much you want to spend. If the RC lift is all just spacers, id skip it and get some adjustable shocks. The wheels aren't bad the black would be ok with your silver truck and the tires look good, but i have no experience with toyos.

A few OE parts from fancy trucks
Rough Country is on the low end of the quality food chain.

Since you don't offroad and don't 'need' a lift, I'd recommend doing more research, saving more money, and doing it correctly the first time.

You might want to make sure the wheel fitment (offset/backspacing) is friendly to the truck, such that you don't have to do a bunch of trimming or add spacers to correct fitment issues. Even if it means running a slightly different size (smaller) tire.

Is there another option besides RC that isn't much more expensive? And I didn't think that the RC kit was all spacers.. Is it?

fucks up the range of travel. over extends ball joints and other components while making the strut bottom out before hitting bump stops. therefore causing a harsher ride and prematurely wearing out or damaging the front suspension.

    Scratches, dents, lots of squeaks.
I have had a spacer kit on my 03 runner for about 5 yrs now with no issues. It is a daystar kit. If you don't off road but want the look its the cheapest way to go. I too would like understand why all the negativity about them. Supported by facts not IMOs. I am looking at the 2.5" spacer in the front on stock suspension of my taco, AALs and 5100s in the back.

To save the additional $$. Looks like I could do 5100s up front with 885s and 5100s in the back will AAL for around $800. Or I could do the spacers with the ALL and 5100s in the rear for around half that.

You can do 5100's without having to buy any springs. I did it and it rode fine. No need to worry about breaking your shocks either

I always go bfg never had any issues with them, currently running 285/75/16 ko2's little more aggressive loking than the regular all-terrains

Given this is a daily driver, and you don't plan to do any wheeling (minor trails aside), I'd think running KO2s is a waste of money. Pricey and heavy tires that will ding your gas mileage on a daily driver vehicle. They are awesome tires, but its sounds like from your budgetary constraints and intended use, they are not ideal and a waste of money. But if aesthetics are most important, then up to you. Most seem to run the 5100s all around instead of your intended RC setup.
