With Les out of coaching, there are only four active head coaches who have won a national championship... Saban (5), Meyer (3), Fisher (1) and Stoops (1).

That's ringing a bell now. We'll have to see, Pitt should have beat them and I haven't been impressed by the few games I've watched Pitt play (they're always on at 12). I just want to see us come out and play well from the first snap.

Kiffin actually is a decent hypothesis. Seems offense was the main reason Les is out. I think it'll be Herman.

 

as bad as I hate to say it that is the most logical answer, at least since he has been at UT and bama he will understand what he is getting into I guess. It would be hard for me to leave a job making 1.4m a year and in contention every year for a NC to go play the team I had helped build year in and year out.

 

I know Jimbo coached there with Saban, but I can't imagine him wanting to leave the ACC and the program he has there to go to the dysfunctional shitfest that is the La State football program. Not to mention he'd have to play Alabama, auburn, Ole Miss, Arkansas and Florida every year. (Though.. he already plays Florida every year, I guess.)

At least Herman would be making the jump to the "big time" if he left Houston for the bayou.
