I like using Sonax full effect cleaner. Requires less effort on removing dust and road grime.

I just use the soapy brush in the self serve car wash bays. Only thing I would use the brush for. I also like the dry rubber look with nothing on it.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
Pick up a bottleof mother's and a small brush at your local auto store. You'll thank me later.

I don't get to concerned about tires being clean, a soapy car wash brush suits me alright.

I recently did an exterior detail on my truck. I bought Mequires Wheel and Tire Cleaner and it worked great, until it stained my driveway. No where on the bottle does it say you can't use it on concrete. However I don't think it was the direct product causing the problem, but the fact that it removes something in the rubber, whether it be a layer of dye or what and THAT is what stains.

So while I don't know of a great product, I would beware of that one. The issue has literally made me so mad I probably will never buy another Meguire's product ever again. That's how bad it is.

So steer clear of this one.

Wait until the tires start turning brown. Then you will probably want something.

I also use Simple Green with a scrub brush, but I use it full strength, no dilution.

This. Amazing stuff. Spray it on, watch the brown sludge roll off.

I spray tires with purple power or simple green decreaser and let it sit for 2-3 min as long as not in direct sunlight. I used to scrub them all with a brush and water which took a while, but I bought a 1600psi electric pressure washer not too long ago, that makes quick work of it. Just spray decreased and blast away. Actually makes the whole job easier with the pressure washer but it's not too powerful where I have to worry about damaging anything.

Dawn. Great degreaser. Brillo pads work good too if you want to get white walls cleaned up.
