Retro's vs led's

What are y'alls opinions on retrofits vs leds in stock housings? Was contemplating on selling my retross and going back to stock with leds. Stupid idea or would lighting be about the same?

 

LEDs are garbage.

I think the first two replies summed it up perfectly.

 

Retrospect are ugly looking (light itself not the light outlut). Ruins the look of the truck

 

I'm legitimAtely asking because I'm starting to see so many starting to convert over to led's and just wondering why. Didn't know if the led output had gotten any better or not. Always knew that the output of projectors from a retro fit was significantly better, just didn't know if something had changed.

 

Because LEDs are easy (no bulky ballasts or igniters), have less glare than HIDs (but still more than halogens), and it's the "newest" tech and everyone wants the latest toys. No, it does not give better light output than the stock halogens, and definitely not any better than proper retrofits.
