    I like them a lot!

265-70-17 D on the Grey Taco
    265-70-16 E's on the White.

The ride is better with the 17 C rated tires/very easy on the driver and passengers; also better mpg than the 16 E's. With the 17 D's and 2" lift/sliders/shell/gear... the truck averages about 1 1/2 to 2 mpg less than it did totally stock.

The 16 E's ride a bit rougher and because of the heavier tire, 2 1/2" King set-up/lift, shell/gear... the truck averages 2 to 2 1/2 mpg less than it did with stock tires.

Tires perform very well on and off-road, never have had issues with terrain because of these tires.

And here are the 265-70-17 D's in their natural habitat. West Mojave Desert/Alabama Hills.

Thanks again for the information. Why do you have the truck leveled off? Are you sleeping in the camper?

Nope, the mountains here in Northern Utah got dusted. We've got some sticking around above about 8000ft.

here's a shot from later in the day when we got up to George Tyng's gravesite, via Miller Hill.

Camped with Rancho Cucamonga TW crew at San Gorgoino campground in San Bernardino National Forest / Big Bear, two nights.

My truck was down for maintenance, so I rolled my friend Bruce!

I used a two man tent that i haven't used for years. No pics of camp, but here's one of Bruce's rig.

    lol

    Was great time!

Yes, the wood blocks helped level the truck so bed wasn't leaning too low on the rear passenger side. I can handle the downward lean towards the front of the truck (I slept with my head towards the tailgate) but I don't like when the bed is leaning towards the driver or passenger side; makes me feel like I'm going to slide off of my foam bed. I always carry a few leveling blocks when I know I'll be sleeping in the bed.

    You'll like the KO's!

Maiden voyage went great with the camper! Absolutely loved the ease and simplicity of the whole thing. Family absolutely loved it which was the best part!

He had some pinstriping on Friday when I jumped in. Got a lot more now! On this trip he even took a minor body damage from a branch that was shaped like a 7. Rolled over the short part and it rapidly upturned smacking the bedside. Initially I thought it was hitting the bumper, saw it finally when airing up and pointed out by a friend behind us on trail. It was Gold Mountain in Big Bear. Very rocky trail with three sizeable obstacles to navigate through. Trail armor got workout. Was fun!
