yep I thought of the same thing this is a rack I borrowed from a buddy to try it and see how I like it. keeps the tire secure and up out of the bed. it does block the rear window but I have a back up camera so, so far, not a big issue we'll see

Undercoating is getting thin but has lasted years. Buffed and surface rust and cleaned it off. Sprayed with black rust paint and let dry. Then used 3 cans of fluid film and did the whole frame with it. This stuff looks great and doesn't drip.

    a bunch of new/used parts....and some skids.
New u joints and carrier bearing. Timken HB 31 and moog joints.

Had to rig something up to get the yoke nut off without another person to hold it. Ended up having a needle fall over and making a mess of my yoke. Had to have my buddy grind off the joint. Luckily bought a spare.

A little bit of work with a file and everything is back together nice and tight! Then took the lady for a ride to get some apples.

Man it was hot as hell this summer. Ran the upstairs one 10-12 hours a day for months! This one is for the basement and mostly for heat during the winter. Both should practically eliminate the use of my baseboard electric for most of the winter

Was just funning, my wife was up there in August visiting the rest of her family and she did complain about the heat a couple of days. I felt real bad for her as the rest of her trip was in the 70's(F) while I was melting in our lovely swamp at 100*+ and 98% humidity.

Definitely, but I'm wondering why. Unless it was designed to do that...

Traded it in for an F-150, I really like the Tundra but just couldnt get past 13-15 MPGs. I love my tacoma but we needed the room as my family is growing. I can honestly say I almost cried leaving it at that dealership. I feel like I left my dog or something.
