Hot damn... 12psi!!! I guess Ill be running like 15 in my tires at rausch... but im glad that the information I found wasn't false while its not a huge difference... to joe shmoe who doesn't check his tire pressure every few weeks itd cause bad tire wear over time

 

I would be attending that trip but I am taking a trip to baltimore for fleet week with the ole ice breaker here... -_- I am going to probably head to rausch the weekend after with a jeep friend of mine..

 

Even 12 wasn't getting the Maxx's to bulge in the rear last trip. Might try 12 up front and 10 in the rear. And it's hard to compare your tires to mine. I'm on a 7" wide rim with a 12" wide tire on 16's. You have tall skinny max's on 17's so I'm guessing you will be pissing air over certain rocks like @Chux was the last time I was riding shotty with him. My old 265's did it too below 15 psi.

 

Different tire and wheel sizes so don't compare directly with @cynicalrider.

 

Is that for a full axle, or just the CV joint?

 

I have aftermarket cv's on my truck now. Never had a issue.
I carry an OEM one for a spare.

 

That's what I like about the OEM, especially the boots. Mine are 12 years old and the boots still look good.

My father-in-law's shop. I've got the box floating around somewhere.
I've been running these CVs for over two years now without issue.

 

Stopped to see my tire/alignment guy this morning to order a new tire. Exhaust reroute is happening next week. He figures one hour in labor plus parts. So more than likely under $200
