I am thinking about 2 truck and one is a 11 trd offroad 6 speed manual. My question is when I drove it the clutch was pretty stiff are they all like that or could it have have a different one installed. I have never driven a manual in a Tacoma.

I don't find my clutch stiff, but it does have (what I consider to be) a high grab point.

Strange, none of the 2nd gen manual trucks I drove had what I would describe as a heavy or high grabbing clutch.

A little of this and a little of that.
My 2011 catches in the middle. I don't find it to be "heavy", but it's not feather light either.
OP-How many miles are on the truck you are looking to buy?

Mine had a high catch point. The clutch piston rod that attaches to the pedal is adjustable. Two turns to shorten the piston rod got the catch point much lower to the floor. Just don't adjust it too low.
