How much do the 5100s all around cost?

X2 on the KO2's but some come in a C load. Not sure on the size he want's though. Toyo's would be right up there if your trying to keep your gas mileage up there

I may have forgotten to mention that my truck is a 2001.

Anyone else have any opinions? I am still split between the Rough Country 2.5" lift and another cheap option... As well as Duratrac tires vs Toyos AT2 tires.... AS WELL AS 265/75r16 vs 285/75r16. Keep in mind that I don't want to break the bank and I have a 2001 4x4 5-speed.

Like $350 for a full set of 5100s on headstrong.

    285s will kill your MPGs.

With a 3" lift on the front he might not be able to get aligned.

First kit is very common and works great. Those coils will ride fairly stiff without any extra weight but its pretty good.

The other doesn't come with a rear lift. And your factory coils might be a little sagged so you may not get a full 2.5" lift over factory. (youl have same problem with a spacer lift)

Numbers wont be 100% ideal but its more than doable. Hundreds of people running 3" with factory uca. Ucas are recommended at 2.5"+ though.

Can you explain a little more on the second part pros and cons because I'm leaning toward that options due to the lower price.

i have a v6 4x4 ext cab and can tell you from personal experience that i like the ride of the eibach coil over the preloaded stocker. I cheaped out at first and just got the 5100s and an aal. within a year i changed out the coils, replaced the leafs, and went to 5125 rear shocks. i shoulda just went with the more expensive option in the first place.

youl find others with this setup here.
