    crap bolted and welded together....
My buddy sent me a pic of his hid install. Is the shield on the wrong side? Shouldn't it be on thr bottom of the bulb so light shines up?

Shield should be on the bottom to shine light up to the housings reflectors to emit light down onto the road. If it's upside down the bulbs will not give the correct light pattern.

Say I order a 55 watt kit for my fog lights. Could I use the 55 watt ballast for my head lights and put the 35 w that's on my headlights now for the fogs?

I was wondering if anyone knows that if I install this in my Tacoma would it void any warrantees on the truck. I have a 2015 only for 8 months or so and I don't want to void anything out yet... Lol

Does anybody know if Slim is still in business? I sent an email from his site almost 2 weeks ago and I've heard nothing from him. I need some replacement lights.

Anyone know what HID will work with his kits and where I can get a replacement?

I'm driving around with one headlight!

If there is currently a halogen bulb in the housing it can be converted to HID with my kit. :)

With the exception of the different output of color are all the bulbs for HIDs generally the same? I don't remember what I purchased but from what I can remember the box looks very similar to this one and I need a new headlight. Where can I buy individual bulbs?

    Public service announcement:

HIDs in halogen reflectors is not a safe or acceptable practice. It is well documented that HIDs in a halogen reflector lens will cause significant scatter blinding oncoming drivers and waste your light output into the air rather than putting it onto the pavement where it can do some good.

It is possible to out perform HIDs and LEDs in light output while maintaining proper beam pattern to maximize usable light on the road, and cost significantly less while using conventional technology:

Has anyone removed their Slim Cubby Set up? I have been trying to get a hold of him for a month or so now with no response. I am sick of not being able to use my fog lights and am ready to part ways with my set. Anyone have a write up on how to remove and reinstall stock fogs. It's been a while since I have had stock lights.

    Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure you're not suppose to run HID's in a chrome OEM housing since it blinds oncoming drivers by spraying light everywhere. HID's are much better used with projectors where the light spray is controlled. And you have a projector cut off that doesn't blind oncoming traffic. You can see way farther with HID retrofits that include projectors. I completely agree with @crashnburn80

Where can you find the piece that connects the three prong thing from the pre-existing bulb connections?
