Hey y'all I'm thinking about repainting my front grille by myself and I couldn't figure out how to take it off. I decided to come here to see if anyone knows how to do it without completely breaking it.

With a flashlite, look carefully at each of the little black plastic clips. With a long thin screwdriver, you need to just press down (or maybe up) on the protruding part of the clip, and it should pop loose. Repeat.

On mine, there are 4 on the top (access from the front), and 3 on the bottom (the middle access in front the the side two access from inside, next to the radiator.

Don't force it. If you don't brake the clips, then the grill will just snap back in when replacing. Even if you break a couple, don't worry. Currently, I'm only using 5 clips, since I broke 2 of them.

Be careful removing the corner lenses/side markers. Broke the clips when removing them. Luckily Amazon had replacements for a fraction of the price of the dealership.
