Getting gear ready for winter and I had a good laugh with you in mind. Those boots are, in fact, Snowpines!

The weather took a turn for the worse, so I left town for a few days. I chased some elk, rode a horse for a day, and had what may have been the best day of trout fishing in my life... Now back to reality :annoyed:

There's still snow in my yard from 4 days ago.

I like the way you put your truck to work. Nice work/play truck build...

...and that's a bad-ass Husky! Which one is that? 3120 XP maybe?

Thanks for the compliments on the build!

The saw is a 575XP with a 105 driver bar on it

The rafting pics with no trees are from the Salmon River in Idaho. It's a very dry area.

    You're welcome.

I'm not a full-time professional logger, but I have a managed forest/wetland, heat with wood, and do a lot of clean ups for neighbours. I only use Husky's as well. 339XP for limbing, 455 Rancher 18", 460 Rancher 20", and a 365 28". I put my truck to work as well.

... and I surmise that part of Idaho is in a rain shadow. Did you do any fishing?

I do a little fishing when I can. I have too many hobbies though, for a guy who has to earn his living. I'm impressed that you use the Taco for that dump trailer. My 33s are killing my clutch with all the towing and hauling I do. I might have to down size on the next set of tires.

I have too many jobs/chores to enjoy hobbies! The Taco hauls that trailer easily with the beefed up suspension. I believe an AT is the way to go when hauling, but I stay in 4D when loaded. I too am going to skinnies (ST Maxx 255/80/17) when these tires are done. They are good tires off road, but way too noisy on pavement.

Subbed! Good looking taco! How you liking the 6spd? i've read mixed reviews about it, but i cant justify buying an auto.. i live in the hills and love banging through the gears. I also plan on towing with mine so thats another reason i dont want the auto

They don't make Timberland anymore, and I ordered my truck.. I wanted Spruce Mica but didn't like the gold shade in certain lighting.

    Always wanted a green truck..
