GOT REAR-ENDED Tacoma VS Honda Ridgeline

    Last week I got hit, at an intersection, from behind while going through a green light. There was a fire truck going through the opposite red light, causing everyone to slam on their brakes.
    The Honda Ridgeline behind me didn't quite stop in time and hit me while trying to swerve to the right to avoid hitting me.
    Took the truck for an estimate today and got a quote for $5621 to replace the bedside. taillight, bumper and tailgate.
    The Honda didn't fair so well. pics below.

    First off, glad you were ok.

    Secondly; Bash the Honda all you want. The rear end of a pickup is designed to be as stout as possible for towing. The front end of any vehicle is designed to crumple and fold to save your life in an accident. If another Tacoma rear ended a Tacoma the results would have been similar.

    I love these trucks but they are made of crystal. A crash like that should never cause over 5 grand in damage.

    Super charged,urd u - conn computer 7th injector, headers, pipe bomb y pipe,high flow exhaust.etc....
    Now a days you will spend almost 5,000$ to sand and repainted a car.No more earl schwab 59.99$ repaints.Paint and supplies are not cheap.Some cheap made but not cheap.Plus labor rates disposal fees.etc.Wait nothing is cheap anymore!
