    OP updated
If anybody has a certain trail run or something they want me to post in the OP I can do that. I am still doing research on this place myself so I have not put specifics on my exact plans. I may jump in on somebody else's ideas. We got lots of time to plan stuff.
Awesome! I'll for sure hit ya up with some questions  Holmes Campground was picked cause some of the guys have already been and had a good experience there. With so many people its not a bad idea to have another camp. Is it primitive camping at your area? I can post details on the OP if you guys want :notsure:
For sure gotta do that. I'll set up a time for Saturday on the OP. We'll get all the trucks, toys, and people in it.

Yes its 100% primitive on S.side. If its something you want or need BRING IT. I just dont like the N.side as much because its high traffic, but thats just me, I have been there 100s of times, at first before I knew any better, I stayed there too. I just prefer a bit of solitude nowadays.

It depends on how big the group will be, but I can probably give out some suggested areas as well, Holmes is in the middle of a dust pit, but pretty much one of the main camping areas, so its easy to find.

I just realized my wife is going home to Switzerland for a few weeks, I had better check the dates to schedule my playtime. I forgot about that!

If Jason is down to set us up with a spot in primitive land on the south side I'm down with joining that camp. Im liking the idea of less traffic and dust.

I think I might stick with Holmes. But who knows. I do like primitive camping more but not sure you want all 30 people pissing in one primitive area. lol  assuming most don't have an RV

If I go out there and camp on S.side you are more than welcome to camp where I will be at, but pretty sure you guys want your group to all be at the same site. I might be solo, forgot the wife will be in Switzerland so not too sure now exactly what I'll do after realizing that, but I'll figure it out, I wanna roll out if I can, would be fun, but without the wife dont know what my camping situation will be. Dont really wanna drag the RV out towing the Jeep just for myself! But I have some options.

Yeah depending on if its going to be 30+ people there that might not be a bad idea. I dont blame ya! Or designate a bush, it will be the greenest thing for 10 miles in any direction! You can always take a drive across the road 10 minutes or less away to drop the deuces..

    Pole line has shitters to.
But for a group shindig I think Holmes or the sites over by blow sand should suit everybody's needs some of people will have girls I don't know if any children will be rolling but bathrooms might been needed.

Most of my experience has been north of the 78. I would be interested in checking out the south side, but Im cool with rolling with the crowd.

I will have my Gaia and spot device, so hopefully no getting lost hah

I've taken the bike on the south side. Although it is not permitted to ride OHV on the south side of the highway other than the General stores and whatnot me and my friend were ballsy enough to take the dirt bikes all the way to the wind caves and didn't get caught but it's a risk $220 ticket.

Right on the other side of homeless camp on the other side of the freeway there are some mud trails, is the best way I can describe it but some of the best riding I've done in Ocotillo
