Been an expensive week. Expecting the front bumper within the next couple months so went ahead and ordered a bunch of junks.

Baja designs squadron sports. Went with the sports because they'll be my fog lights. Got the harness to hook up to the factory fog light switch.

Custom car grills. Was debating between the bamf and the custom car grills. Both frikin expensive but i figure the custom car grills will get here sooner.

Morimoto 2stroke leds for both highs and lows. Gotta pop the headlights off a little to get the bulbs in so i figured get em in before installing the bumper may be a good idea.

Finished the front half. Changing out the leafs tomorrow.
Good thing i installed my morimoto leds last night. My short ass would have had hard time installing them after the lift.

Finally installed the lift. Only took 5 months. Warm day today. Installed the front by myself but those all pro leafs would break my ass so i called for some help. My buddy came by and easily saved me a bunch of hours of work.

    edit: add second picture

    Work done this weekend.
front:Install icon extended travels with remote resevoir and 700# springs. Wheelers super bump.
Rear: Installed extended travel remote resevoir rear shocks and all pro standard leaf pack. U bolt flip kit with wheelers super bump.

How do you like the Morimoto LEDs? I can't stand these opt7 ones because they're just not bright enough

my previous truck had retro fit fxr's so these leds aren't quite what I'm used to. there's a good chance I'll be looking for something better later.

didn't realize how big a project the bumper would be. figure i might well mount everything in the bumper right off the bat than to drop and mount it everytime i plan to install something. so, went and ordered a winch. when i install the winch i need to have the fairlead so had to buy that too. might as well get the flipster too since there's a sale. gotta fill that lightbar slot too so another thing in the Amazon shopping cart. still gotta pay for shipping and powder coating.

i like it a lot. it's pretty good. Could almost drive with it. i like pretty much everything about it. not much to take picture of. it fits very nicely behind the mirror. i guess the only thing i would ask for is a way to mount it to the mirror arm or mirror base so that I'm not relying on tape to hold it on to the glass. it's fallen off before.

Like what are you doing for cable management? Isn't that one of the ones that just plugs into the side? Also have you been able to get it to stop talking to you?

i route the cables up into the headliner. the camera comes with adhesive wire holders/clips too. i route the wires through the a-pillar down the dash and hard wire into the 12 volt plug wiring.

i don't believe you can turn the voice off and it does big me but without that you really wouldn't know what mode it's in and if it's on since mine is tucked up behind the mirror.

Yeah I was afraid of that with the voice. Would you mind taking a pic of the side where the wires actually plug in so I can see these clips and such?

the clips are under the headliner. i used the factory wiring cover for the mirror to route the wires. i disconnected the wires to the mirror because i really didn't need any of the features on the mirror. I'll take a pic next time i get a chance.
