I'm new to this whole offset thing, what offset is needed if no lift? I'm aware stock comes 30mm but Ive contacted 4wheelparts and they said i need the -12 offset which is 4.5 BS.

The only options for the fuel kranks are +20mm , +1 and -12

Bilstein 6112 front, 5100's rear with blocks, camburg UCA, 17" XD's with 285/70/17 AT 3's and a blackout front grille.
I bought KMC wheels with -12 offset and they have 265/70/17 tires on them which I believe is 1 inch larger than the stock tires that come on the 2016 TRD off road. They rub....

I'm in the same boat looking for wheels. I put 6112's on the front so I get some lift but i'd like to also know what works. Good question.

    Offset is based off centerline...
Backspace is based of wheel width.
Wheel width is typically 1" greater than rim width.
Wheel manufacturers state the rim width.
Say you have an 16"x8" wheel with zero offset.
8" is the rim width, 9" is the wheel width.
4.5" would be the backspace on 8" wheel with 0 offset.

You can use this calculator if you know the stock specs. Typically ours are 7" rim width, +25mm offset.

Your from humboldt county?? and yeah they keep telling me to get the -12 but i had a feeling it would rub so i do not want to order. a 275 tire should fit on stock, which is what I'm getting.. But i will have to keep asking around, because I thought a 20mm offset would be fine.

    Yep, the lost coast.

I was going to post this same question to see what other Taco drivers use daily. I feel like I should have taken a college course on wheels before buying or trusting the "tire pro's" down at the local shop.

I want to get a set of procomp series 51 in a 16" closest I can get is a -12 BS on an 8" rim, stock trd OR suspension and 265/75/16. Can't figure out if they'll rub, the pic on "will they fit" says they'll be further out from the suspension so I think it will, but I need the course too... lolScreenshot_20160927-145937.jpg
