Nut size on shock mounting kit

    I installed the mounting kit and shocks last weekend and during install one of the threads in one of the nuts completely fell apart. I need to replace it with a grade 8 nut. Just need the size. Thanks

    Sorry, should have specified. One if the three bolts that holds the shock to the upper mount. The one on the lefttmp_9127-20160927_1028321903441858.jpg

    Sorry for the slow response Thyces, we are currently playing catch up. The Mod is correct on the nut size, they are a Flange Hex M10-1.25. We have never had a failure with these, they are Dorman brand though if interested.

    Thanks Marie. I think it must have been a bad one that slipped through quality control. The threads just snapped clean off. I was using a torque wrench so I know I didn't over torque it. Not a big deal though I'll just stop by a hardware store and grab one. Thanks again

    I'm having the same problem but with the nut on the top.. Literally about to cut the nut off so I can get the strut out. I just need to know what size the nut on the top is.. So I can go buy it
