They are all pro standard leafs. So far they are fantastic, but I might be changing them to the expos. I ordered a RTT and go camping often. But I'm going to ride these for a while before I make a final decision.

Not yet. I have some ruffstuff ones, but ran out of time this weekend doing this. Planning a bump pad on top of the u bolt plates and bump stop on the frame.

Got it, I just throw on the wheelers with a similar relocation an have had no complaints.

We moved my shock crossmember a bit higher than yours in the pic you posted cause I ended up with about 2.5inches up-travel

    You running 10s?

I'm running 12s. I have about 10.5" of travel IIRC. There's about 5.5" showing at ride height and like 1.5"-2" of shock left at bump and stuff.

Here's the link I wrote up yesterday about this weekend. It's pic heavy.

    Ahh.

I have my lower shock mounts mounted lower. I believe that's why I have more shock showing.

Totally forgot about the lower shock mount. Mine are at the bottom of the axle but horizontal to the ground(for better ground clearance).

I had to move the crossmember about another few inches up, the top of it's now 1/4 inch from the underside of the bed

Few reason: needed to angle them to fit 12" shocks. Better rock crawling articulation and better travel out of the shocks. Because I did a U bolt flip, there was no lower shock mounts for the new shocks. I also decided to put in a new crossmember/upper shock mount at that time.

I wanted to do that, but it looked like I'd run into issues with the shock travel. We had to mount it quite a bit lower than expected to make sure the shock wouldn't become damaged.

I bought the 12's a while ago because I saw BAMF's rig and he used 12's. Figured itd work out well. Just have to do some reinforcement and gusseting.

Some shocks with same travel have varying compressed lengths as much as a few inches. I found out that the hard way.

Ya, I realized that after I bought the 12s. I just had to change some angles. Not too big of an issue.
