    I've got a 98 Tacoma 4x4
I just replaced steering rack bushings, inner and outer tie rods and lower ball joints. Had a four wheel alignment at Toyota dealer. The tech said he ran through the alignment three times but couldn't get the steering wheel to stay lined up. When you drive the truck straight, the steering wheel is turned to the left at the 10 o'clock position.
Any ideas on what might cause this? The truck is aligned but this will no doubt bother the shit out of me.

My tech is always able to fix/adjust that. In addition did they charge you extra for all four? You cant adjust anything in the back is why i ask.

Are the tie rods set at close to equal lengths? Asking because we know those have been replaced recently. They won't be exact most likely, but should be close.

Are the castor numbers equal for both sides? This is the typical issue. Bad castor.

If tie rods are close and castor balanced..........

Has the steering shaft been unhooked from the rack for repair or something?

Has the steering wheel been off?

4 wheel alignment? There's nothing on the rear to align.

Centre pin could have sheared and the axle might have shifted a bit. Not likely but Its happened before.

Ya I don't understand the four wheel alignment, like you said, nothing to adjust in the back.
The outers were 21 turns each so they should be as close as they can get.
Haven't had the steering wheel off.
    Haven't messed with steering shaft.
Have to get the alignment sheet, I was in a hurry to get out of there and forgot all about it.
