Just got Matico Winco 30% ceramic (not carbon) tint on all windows and 70% on windshield. This really keeps the interior cool in the sun. I had Lumar ceramic on my previous Nissan Xterra and loved it. I've heard good things of Winco so thought I'd give it a try. Paid $200 for the film and a friend installed it for me. Several shops wanted to charge $400 plus for everything installed. Now it's time for a Winco VS Lumar heat comparison. Took some pictures of the boxes of the film and also the windshield. Winco does look slightly light blue compared to the Lumar ceramic. In this Texas heat it really helps keep you cool and helps the Truck A/C cool the car a lot quicker. Took pictures of the state sticker cut out for comparison.

Is the tint on the inside of the front windshield? Can the tint be on the outside to protect windshield from rock chips?

    Asking for a friend.

    I have no friends.

It's on the inside. Gets installed just like regular tint. It's only purpose is to block out uv rays and heat from the cabin.

Did you have chance to measure the visibility using the tester after the installation in the front?
Im considering to install one on mine, but where im located, the law requires visibility to be above 71% in the front.

Sorry I don't have a tester to measure the percentage %. All I know is that the box for the windshield says it lets 70% light thrue.
