    you guys think I could put a set of BF Goodrich mud terrain 255/75/17 on 2017 tacoma stock without rubbing when turning all the way

    yea thats smaller then most are running with 265/70/17 its same height but .4" skinnier I dont see any issue

    The tire is not the same height. It is actually 0.5" larger or so. It is a size I am looking at, but with a small lift and a little more off-set from my TRD wheels. I don't think it would rub in my case. Completely stock, I'm not so certain.

    well guess I was thinking since my 265/70/17 said 32" I was thinking they were closer to the 32"
    All manufacturer are different to. some 255/75/17 might be bigger or smaller then another company so they might be closer in size depending on the actual measurement of the tire

    Can't answer your question directly, but...........

    The tire calculator will give you a flavor of size comparisons and what will be different.

    And you can do research in the 3rd gen section. What worked on a '16 will be the same on a '17.

    I like the fact that you're interested in using stock wheels/suspension. Practicality points for you!

    You can also look at the actual size specs (and weights) on tirerack.com. Good site for tire research.
