I had the same thing happen last Saturday, was washing the truck and heard a very faint hissing sound at the right rear side. Finally noticed that a screw was embedded in between the treads of my K02. I would have never have heard it if it weren't for the soapy water on the wheel. Had it repaired in less than an hour at a tire shop down the road from me for free.

Bummer, I'm not sure if it will even leak just yet. I'm going to pull it out today and see what happens. You should pick up a tire repair kit tho, even without a compressor you can atleast get to a gas station with air to plug it up

I have a repair kit in the truck, was just crunched on time that day and had other stuff to take care of. Shop plugged it for free so that was a plus.

So I swapped the wheels so I could get an alignment, they only had the sensors that clip to the wheel vs tire so thats the reason. Truck looks way goofy with the stock wheels. So alignment went good, had some toe issues on the driver side.

Now my spare still had the beads in them because I was crunched for time when I had the other 4 taken care of so this was a good time to do it. Like everywhere I go if I feel like it will be a liability I do it myself or remove certain things. So I told the guy I will dismount the spare and put it back on myself, plus the lugs require a key and I didn't hand that to them. So the guy finishes and pulls my truck around and it has the spare on the tire carrier, I was confused and go out and of course the lugs are barely finger tight and I am missing 1/3 lugs. Dude tells me yeah I set them up and they all dropped and I could only find 2 of them as if that was the end of story and good luck with your troubles lol.

So after explaining to the guy that I need that lug they went on a search of the entire shop for this lug, literally every employee #overkill So finally they gave up and thought they could just get my a replacement at auto zone and of course they have nothing similar plus I'm not going to have 1 lug that requires its own key. So they offered to pay the bill after I order replacements from Vin.

Well I get to storage and go through all the tire tread depths and decide where I want them, put the freshly balanced most tread life spare up front. Start driving back home and notice a really good steering wheel shake. Drove home on the factorys just fine so its not the alignment. Figured maybe the tires are just getting back into the groove of things after being on different places of the truck, still not any better after putting some miles on it. Decided to check the wheel that got balanced to see if maybe, just maybe they forgot to balance it. Sure enough only a small strip of wheel weights that are old and weathered so that was from a previous balance with no signs of trying to put any other weights on. great

So I called them to speak with the tech and ask him if he by chance forgot to balance the tire and if he did how difficult was it to balance to see if he was only bluffing. Sure enough they weren't exactly sure but thought they did, and offered for me to come next saturday to check it.

I guess on a brighter note they found my missing lug nut lol

Lol yeah but this week has been super busy for her, if it's any indication I get home around 730pm from work and still beat her home while I also wake up at 4am and she is still awake studying only to sleep when I leave at 430 to wake up by 630 to get ready for school.

So I would feel pretty bad asking for her help right now.

So after my close shock with the dual battery and the CB fiasco I picked up a automotive wiring book to learn myself some knowledge. I'll admit my electrical knowledge is nothing past one side is positive and the other negative. So it's nice knowing a little bit of what I'm doing

Paying for parking is just straight BS.. but props to the guy who first thought of it haha I don't like paying for people to do things either but if I feel like my time is better off doing something else than struggling on something ill pay. I have a trustworthy shop though which really helps.

Funny how we all have different opinions of what to pay people for. Like I hate wiring too but always feel so good about it afterwards.

But fucking with drum brakes and bleeding brakes.... yeah I'll happily pay for that shit.
