Sounds a lot like the needle bearing. If you are driving straight, switch the truck to 4x4 and see if it disappears. If so, it is the needle bearing.

Thanks for the compliment! Shoot me a pm and we can talk some details.

I have high hopes for them since they market to be a custom set of leaf springs. Requesting 2.5" lift from stock and 500# nominal load, so they should ride rough empty, but I like a truck to ride like a truck. They are supposed to be tuned to remove Taco lean.

When I first got my truck I didn't want any lift and wanted something around 3-500lbs over stock, can't remember exactly. With just a topper on the leafs sat negative and with a load it would slam the bumps over any bumps. When I called and talked to the owner let's just say he's a dick.

Just wanted to say hi and I'm new to the forum and that I finally found the Alabama thread. I'm from Birmingham and have a 2007 X-runner I just bought and an 86 Hilux that's been in the family since it was new.

Haha thank you! It took on a lot of steam fast but just slowly gets a little participation here and there. I still like to go back and look at just how many people are across the country on here.

Love your xRunner! Never been able to talk to anybody who owns and DD's one, but what's your typical mpg?

Alright, Alabama folks I need your help. Work and stuff has kept me and my friends busy lately but we have to do a bachelor trip. My friend is getting married November 19th and we are shooting for the weekend of October 22nd right now. No, we don't want the typical "party/strippers/get drunk" type thing. Example: last year we did another friends bachelor trip and it was a weekend in gulf shores and we went deep sea fishing. I am a TERRIBLE trip planner and never actually planned a bachelor trip. What is something awesome we can do for a weekend (Friday-Sunday) that doesn't take immense amounts of planning or prep and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Help a brother out.

we have been discussing a camping/atv riding sort of weekend with the bros, problem is we don't have atvs. I'm the only one with any sort of off road vehicle actually (I know my friends are shameful). Do any of you guys know somewhere we can camp for the weekend and rent atvs/dirt bikes or whatever and fish and whatnot?
