I've been looking for a solid, reliable tire shine. I've tried the spray bottles, the spray cans, the FOAMING spray cans, the tire gloss gel, more brands than I can recall. Every time, I almost always end up with spin-off on the fenders, the concrete where the tires were get stained black, the film left on the tires attracts dirt like a magnet, and the stuff fades after a couple of weeks, and I end up having to reapply after every wash.

    ......not anymore!!!
I found Turtle Wax Jet Black series Black Endura-Shine tire coating. The package comes with a really good tire cleaner, gloves, applicator pad, and the tire coating. I applied 2 coats after the first wash, and it's been 1 month, 2 washes, 4 rain storms, and 700 miles of highway commuting, and the tires still look AMAZING!!!

These aren't the best pics because the factory I work at is very dusty, and it's been a week since the last wash, but you can still see the shine through the dust, and the dust doesn't "stick".

Check out ChrisFix's review below. He updated the comment section each month he had the product on. It doesn't last a full year like the package claims, but 8 months for him (3 months on my wife's car and a month on my truck) is better than 1-2 weeks from any other product I've used!

I thought they quit selling that stuff? When you run out, try Duragloss Tire and Rubber Mat Dressing. It's similar to the endura in appearance but much more natural looking. It won't last nearly as long as the endura, but it's easily applied. More coats = more gloss. One coat = tires just look like new tires. And no sling. Also nice on any plastic trim. Darkens it up nicely without being oily. It's a polymer.

Amazon still sells it, and that's where I got it from.

I'll definitely have to try these after my Endura-Shine runs out.

The Jet Black Endura Shine from Turtle Wax is a great looking product. For a while........
I used it on a set of BFG Rugged Terrains before I got the KO2s's. It looks great and lasts a very long time.
The problem is it's like clear coating your tires. After a while it starts to peel, crack and flake off. It also turns your tires a burnt Brown color. I loved this stuff for about 3 months. Then hated it for the next 2 years. I tried everything I could to scrub the "flaky skin" off and down to my natural side walls. Nothing worked. I just had to live with it and keep it covered with another tire shine as best I could. That's the main reason for exchanging the tires for the KO2's. The other BFG's only had 30,000 miles on them, about half worn. I sold them to a friend who wanted to turn the White letters in anyways.
I've tried a lot of products but I have found is the easiest, best looking and most economical is Hot Shine from Meguiar's. Its about $7.00 and the shine lasts for about a week, but it keeps your tires a deep Black for about 30 days. I have one of those adjustable wheel covers that covers my wheels as I spray it on and takes less than 5 minutes to apply. I do have a little slink off on occasion though but no big deal. The pic below is after about 3 weeks.
5 minutes a month and a 3 months supply for $7.00 not to bad in my book for nice looking tires.

That's really good to know about the flaking! I don't know of anyone else who's used the Endura-Shine for a long period if time, so thanks for the heads-up.

Meg's Hot Shine was my other go-to for that exact reason: it's cheap and available anywhere. Although, Meg's NXT Insane Shine is good contender in that category of tire shines.

I've not found one of these tire shine/protectants that don't act as a dust/dirt magnet (as I spend a lot of time on forest/logging roads).

Is anyone aware of any dust/loose dirt don't stick to?

I am using Tufshine's coating. I had fits with it at first due to tire prep. The tires have to be super clean. Took cleaning my tires 3 times with a dedicated tire cleaner. It looks fantastic. Will report back if there is any flaking/cracking.

Meguiar's NXT is a good product as I have used it before. Maybe slightly better than Hot Shine but just slightly. But at about 30-40% higher price its not 30-40% better that's why I use the Hot Shine. Meguiar's Endurance gel is OK but I have found anytime I rub an applicator over the tires unless they are super clean I end up streaking Black stains up on the White letters. Sprays don't do that. Just have to watch out for spraying your wheels.
I will say this, the Jet Black Turtle Wax Endrua spray was the best for repelling dust and dirt as seems to dry "hard" on the tires. The others do attract dust and dirt as they seem to stay moist.
Anyone use one of these wheels covers from Zane's? Works great to keep tire shine sprays of you wheels.

Adams VRT doesn't collect dirt its almost dry and gives a new clean tire look without the wet runny look, but the AdamsVRT collects money instead its more expensive then the rest.

I definitely like the look of it, but how long does it last? If it holds that deep black after a couple of washes, then it might be worth the extra $$$.

Don't use any of this stuff if you drive on a gravel road. It actually attracts dust and makes the tire look very dirty. Ironic I know :)

lasts quite awhile as compared to others it depends on weather rainy conditions will reduce the life of all the tire dressings, I like Adams VRT but it costs more so I may try the Duragloss next go round. Adams is better than Meguires endurance and 303 aerospace protectorant I have used in the past. My new effective tire system is Simple Green diluted to clean and Adams VRT= winning on my truck
