2004 frame rot in Ontario

    The buy back here in 2008ish saw my co worker get $21,900 for his 99 Trd off road that wasn't worth 5k according to the dealership.

    Some people were lucky, that's for sure

    Pretty much stock right now
    That's amazing. Mine were base model 2.7l extra cab 4x4s with nothing fancy on them.

    So what did I do with the money? Paid off the loan, went out an bought another Tacoma for cash, and spent whatever was left on parts for the new truck.

    Me too, but I really like the truck and am hoping for the best.

    Hey try another dealer that knows what he is talking about! I went to several dealer in Quebec city before they really know the case. If the previous owner took it for inspection, your truck will have a new frame. Did mine at the end of the summer and I am super happy. Don't give up!
