    The goal for this thread is in the title. Maybe it's just me, but I can't figure out the meaning of many people's usernames- especially when you throw numbers and shit into the mix. And these are people that I've met, wheeled & camped with, sold or bought parts to/ from... and I always forget to ask.

    I'll attempt to keep a list updated in the second post, assuming there is some participation.

    I hate to be exclusionary, but please limit this to NorCal members. As @tomwil posted, there's another thread for all TW members:

    @2BeersPlease - In crowded clubs/bars, I'd often order two drinks for myself so I could spend less time waiting to order and more time drinking.

    @2015whitetaco - I drive a 2015 white tacoma

    @707Thor - Thor - Name of my Tacoma...I tend to name my vehicles using the same first letter as the model...and well, Thor is just a badass - Ha

    @90yota - I no longer live in NorCal (Truckee) but lived there for some time and will move back once I'm done with the military. My username is simple, born in 90 and I've always been into Toyotas.

    @916TacoTruck - post: 916- area code for sac where I lives.
    Tacotruck- I like taco food trucks.

    @99er - Participating on this Tacoma enthusiasts forum, represented by my truck of 1999 vintage.

    @Anderson - Almost every owners/enthusiast forum I belong to (for some reason its quite a long list) I try and use my name. If my name is not available I go by Anders0nic or GreenThumb... I think there are a few others as well, but I don't know. The internet forums havebeen around for about 15 years now.

    @Asphaltcowboychip - "Asphalt Cowboy" came from a country song sung by Blake Shelton or Jason Aldean (better imho). Im always on the road and a chip.

    @Baoser - Bao is my last name...

    Bowser was pretty cool

    Baoser

    @barnabus -
    it’s my dogs name :broccoli:

    @BartMaster1234 - I was really obsessed with BART, yes - that BART, as a kid. Never ended up finding a new username.

    Not Bart Simpson, Bay Area Rapid Transit.

    @Basikbiker - The basik part was a graphic design thing a friend and I did as a senior project back in high school on an action sports video we made. The biker part, I used to competitively race downhill mountain bikes, ride dirtbikes, now just for fun but stuff will two wheels is a passion.

    @batshitcrazy - It was either this or yolo420blazeit69. Neither has any significance but to confuse people and help them make false assumptions.

    @bayareataco - I like cats

    @Bentrodder - Started by an old guy saying I was "hellbent to be a hotrodder" and always referred to me as that hellbentrodder. I dropped the hell.

    @Benzdriver81 - My first car was a 1982 Mercedes-Benz 300SD. The thing was a POS, but I loved telling everyone I drove a Benz.
    My football number in high school was #81.

    @Bigskybob - Robert from the Big Sky State - MT

    @browndirtcowboy - From a song
    "captain fantastic and the brown dirt cowboy" By Elton John
    Captain Fantastic sounded a little pretentious, so the latter came into play.
    But since i love the dirt and country music and brown is the color cowboy boots and dirt is brown and cowboys are dirty and well you get the idea....:crapstorm:

    @BudMan - As much as it may seem :rasta:, my family and early childhood friends still call me Bud, Buddy, or BudMan. It stuck :D

    @CalTacoma09 - California
    Tacoma
    Year of mytruck09

    @cbechtold - first initial last name

    Yes, I'm lazy about usernames. :anonymous:

    @cheeehara - used to be maui123. couldnt think of anything creative but i was born and raised in maui. now its cheeeharawhich is a different way to spell my last name (chihara)

    @CheFigata - I didn't have my Taco when I joined, so I used what I use in other places. Figata means Awesome or Cool in Italian. With the "Che" in front, it means really awesome or really cool. The reason Figatta is spelled with 2 T's, correct spelling is one T, is that is what my plate is on my motorcycle. The correct spelling was already taken. I know, really long explanation.

    @Chris Miles - um...

    @CrashN'Burn - Most of my endeavors end in this fashion.

    @Danactive - gamertag and I love that it keeps me regular lol

    @DCSBFTMFW - Double Cab Short Bed For The Mother Freakin' Win

    @Dcsleeper408 -
    Dc- chasis code of my old rsx
    Sleeper- turbo/nitrous setup
    408- san jose town I grew up in.

    @desertrunner24 - mine came from the love of prerunning in the desert. either on my dirt bike or in my buddies 99 long travel taco

    @Don5352 - Don, my name. 5352 is my NAVY Enlisted Classification. Special Warfare Combant-Craft Crewman (SWCC)

    http://navyseals.com/ns-overview/navy-swcc-the-navys-elite-boat-warriors/

    @drftsub - Drftsub has been my username on forums all over since about 2000.

    I had a shop back then that specialized in building road race and rally cars, and tuning street cars (had a dyno etc) . Decided to build a rear wheel drive Subaru legacy turbo to show all the 240sx kids that a Subaru could drift too, this was the plate.

    @Drtgrl - I like playing in the dirt and i'm a girl

    @EDDO - In an ancient past, guy I knew from the local BBS took to calling me that based on my initials. Yes, I am that old.

    @Fight4Function - Social warrior in the movement of practically and utility! :crapstorm:

    @FirstTimeFirstGen - FirstTime = First Tacoma, First off road experience(s), first time using a forum for anything other than troubleshooting stuff

    FirstGen = first gen Tacoma

    the name sounded good at the time. Granted I was a few beers in so anything sounded good.

    @Fizgig - Fizgig is the name of my first Great Pyrenees that I adopted through a rescue group and who loved to ride on many adventures in my 1st Gen Tundra. She was named for the Muppet creature on the Dark Crystal, and once I saw videos of a bouncing fluff ball who could be vicious I totally understood why. She was an Alpha princess like me, too. :thumbsup:Both dog and Tundra are gone, since I got my Taco it brings back good memories. Another meaning of Fizgig is a 'gadding, flirty girl or woman'. So I've been told...and in memory of my dog and a glimpse of my personality the TW name was created.

    @GHOSTFJ - Ghost is a nickname given to me by teammates when I used to play paintball and FJ is for Land Cruisers. Originally had a FJC but wanted the real thing, so I got a FZJ80 now.

    @Gply - G for George
    Ply is what everyone called me in high school cuz they could never pronounce my last name. (It's a Greek thing)

    @GreekPEguy - I'm Greek, a PE teacher, and guy. So just smashed them together.

    @Gunner_Pater -
    Mine is my gamer tag (PS4). Gunner_Will is my son (if you have the misfortune of meeting him in a first person shooter...the kid wrecks). I'm Pater, Latin for father.

    @HAVING FUN - :D

    @hellaflushca - I use to be into lowered stuff. "hellaflush" and i live in ca.

    lowered 05 civic.
    lowered 07 audi A3 hatch

    Now im into lifted stuff. lol

    @InfernoTom67 - Color of my new Tacoma - My first name - year I was born

    @IronPeak4x4 - Lived on Iron Peak for many years. Added 4x4 because dork.

    @jAndyMendo - Mine is my password for all my email and bank accounts ;)

    @JLee - It's an old nick name.

    @Katchaser00 - Katchaser = My nickname growing up because I was a Catfish fishing fanatic. Also realize most people don't have that username, so its my username for almost everything internet related. lol

    00= Just added because I thought it looked cool.

    @kukimonsta - kukimonsta :)cookiemonster:) = spelt with a hawaiian slang "kuki" and boston accent "monsta

    @KMFDM_V - I’m a big fan of the band KMFDM. On my first car I had a KMFDM sticker and my dad asked me if it meant Kenny’s Mother Fuckin Driving Machine, which of course it did. The Tacoma is my 5th vehicle and embodies that name more than any other vehicle I’ve owned.

    @lawless - my name is Lawson and when i was 13 my sister's boyfriend started calling me lawless. so now i'm lawless.

    @Longboard1110 - I surf using longboards. At the time I signed up to this site I had a 10' and an 11'.

    @Lostsheep - I needed a bowling handle and I've always been a fan of them Duke boys (and I am from Georgia). Handle followed me from the alley to the CB and then to the internet. Tried to get the wifey to take Bo Peep but she wasn't having it; but damn I love it when she wears those Daisy Dukes.

    @loyaltothetaco - Reckon mine's pretty self explanatory...

    @LTDSC - LTD = Limited, model of my 4runner.
    SC = initials

    @Mademan925 - One of my first favorite video games was the godfather. You worked hard to become a mademan and then you were untouchable. I liked the idea of being untouchable. The name mademan was always already taken so I added 925.

    @Mallrat60 - Traveled all over the USA building stores in malls for 18 years. Born in 1960

    @MAV2 - MAV=My initials, 2=2nd child with MAV initials:muscleflexing:

    @melloweyelids - I enjoy marijuana. Pretty simple.

    (the term "mellow eyelids" comes from song lyric though)

    @MFTAF13 - Road trip with the wife and the taco last year. North through the mountains and down the coast. We were cruising some shops in Ferndale and came across this kitchen towel (see avatar), the truck is a 2013.

    @MJonaGS32 - It used to represent my name. But since that confused the shit out of people, it now represents what stoner kid @Shemicals aka "buff as shit" thought my user name meant.

    him: "Hey bro what's a GS?"
    me: "Huh?"
    him: "MJ on a GS" (in the most stoner voice you can imagine)
    pretty much explains it haha

    @Mountain Minstrel - I am a musician who loves the mountains.

    @nDub - NW are my initials.

    @oldgrg138 - Nickname at work is Old Greg, 138 is from a misfits song.

    @Overlanerd - Not enough trail cred to be an "overlander", but I'm a nerd about all things expo. I geek out over Frontrunner Wolfpack containers. It's just a fuckin' plastic box...

    @Partzguy - Sold foreign auto parts for 40 years...

    @picturethis - Pictures, photos, camera, my thing, picturethat

    @Porter707 - Like @Centeno707 last name and area code haha. Guess I'm not very original either!

    @PostRunner - The Taco was a prerunner,added xfer case and front axle ect,ect ect after all that its a postrunner

    @Puddle pirate - I'm in the coast guard and other branches call us puddle pirates.

    @QanuKoa - Snowflake Warrior... it's Inuit and Hawaiian words compounded. Been my wheels name since ever since. Think of the courage the first snowflake of the season has to have... It knows that it is bound to melt when it touches the ground, but still, it falls. Because it knows that for there to be snowpack, it takes a leader of the pack... QANUKOA.

    @rob1208 - cause rob is my first name and 1208 spells rob in pager code ... yeah real creative but hey, who doesn't like reading pager code?

    @robertpaulson - fight club reference... "his name was robert paulson."

    @SAC-CA-Runner - Because when I had my 99 4Runner I lived in Sacramento. I now live in Dublin, CA...but figured I would keep it since I still have a 4Runner, but a 2008. And some forums I can't figure out how to change it so I left it. :)

    @Sccafire - I volunteer in Emergency Services for the SCCA. Basically, I wait around till they crash or catch on fire. Plus I used to work in the fire service many moons ago.

    @SCRunner12 - SC for Santa Cruz, Runner for 4runner (previous vehicle and forum) and 12 because it's a number I like. Always thought about changing it as I made it years ago and never liked it, but it stuck.

    @Silver02Taco - I think mine's pretty self-explanatory... :notsure:

    @Sprig - Sprig is a waterfowl hunters term for a pintail duck. Pintails look like F18 hornet fighter jets when they fly. My hunting Labrador retriever is named Sprig and my avatar is a picture of him. I thought the handle Sprig was unusual and appropriate.

    @stroM- My ancestors came over ellis islands back in the day from Sweden, our original last name was lindstrom - they dropped the strom because it sounded more "american" so I am continuing the legacy :p lol

    TL;DR : family history

    @SUMOTNK - My username comes from the customized cars that I have. Each with their personalized plates for it.

    SUMOTNK - my Tacoma that I customized to be "wide and squatty".
    JAGRBOM - my '70 BMW CS Coupe that I customized to be my "LowRider"
    SAKERKT - my '66 Datsun that my wannabe racecar/street-legal go-kart.

    @t.hornstra -
    x2, same deal here. Nothing special.

    @TankoMyTaco - One day someone called my truck a tank. Kind of liked the sound of that. Add an "O" to the end of it and you have Tanko my Taco

    @Tee Arghhhhhh Dee - Because I'm a fucking creative pirate!

    @the glen - Im an electrician, when i was still an apprentice and getting ready to become a journeyman my general foreman really liked my work and thought that the glen sounded cool and gave me that name. I liked it too. Im pretty sure im one of the few with a spruce mica so i think the name fits well. And its on my skids,lol

    @TOY4JMEBOOZE
    TOY: a toy for me to play with, and is also a Toyota
    4:for
    JME: My name is Jaime (in Spanish). I was always teased by family, pronouncing it in English. J-me.
    BOOZE: drink a lot of beer. My siblings call me jmebooze.

    @Toynado - It was what came to mind when I created it.

    @TRDTDI - Mine indicates that my other vehicle is a TDI (old golf turbo diesel).

    @Twizted - Mine's been a nickname ~20 years, so I adjusted the spelling and started using it as a handle back then.

    @VolcomTacoma - Volcom-Tacoma. Threw some volcom stickers on my first truck when I first got it...stared at the TW name making screen for like 5 minutes and then was like...Volcom.....Tacoma? Deal.

    @Whitebutler - Sitting around a camp fire at camp far West on a hot boat weekend I was helping a friend with all his shit and some guy walked up and said geez must be nice to have the money tooafford a whiteButler..... Well?!

    @YOTA 209 - I'm from Stockton, 209. Not too creative, I know.[/USER]

    @oni06 - Demon in Japanese - Picked it out a long time ago when I was playing Decent 1/2/3 on the PC and have used it ever since. Added 06 to the end because Oni was usually taken.

    ** Edit .. didn't notice this was in the NorCal section. I live in SoCal. At least it wasn't on the east cost or something.
