Opinion on what i should do.....

...Im trying to figure out if i wanna run my 2 12" Alpine Type X Subs down the middle of the back seat and install all the amps behind the seats OR.....


...do i just run a shallow mount JL sub or something similar?



Im just looking for opinions. Im driving a 09 DC TRD Sport.

 

What is your main use for your audio? SPL or SQ? What are your other upgrades (deck, mids, highs and etc)? How much are you willing to sacrifice in cargo space?

 

both SPL and SQ. As far as doors (mids n highs) i have not decided on what im doing yet. I HAD Alpine Type R's in my old jeep. And cargo space i already plan on not having anything behind the back seat....if i go with the Type X's i also plan not to have a middle in my back seat.

 

If you don't mine the cargo lost then go with the Type X. I have a slot ported 12W7 in my 02 ext cab. If I were to do over, I would have went with a shallow mount since I have a family now. It all depends on how deep your pocket it, your needs, situation, mind and etc.
