I keep mine in my front pocket, it holds it out the way of everything and I don't forget it inside when I leave.
But If I need it, I press the entune button and all the numbers pop up on the screen. Or if I want my music, I press the Bluetooth button and my lists pop up.

    Hope that helps
    Cheers!

Just do a search for beatsonic, that's the brand that makes it. IIRC it's quite expensive.

Yep, that's the web site I saw. And yes I remember them being expensive.

I'm not really sure. I just ran across the web site and was thinking that would be a good idea.

I almost never need a holder and this one can only be used horizontal but I like it because it's not obnoxious when I'm not using it. Mine sits almost directly over my head unit on my dash.
I could get a picture if anyone one wants it.

Edit, BTW I have a Nexus 6P which is no small phone, so it can handle most phones out there today.

Edit again, a live link. http://www.spigen.com/products/spigen-car-mount-stealth

I used this. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009BIPI04/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It is used to add another ball to the side of the arm, but I used it to mount the whole system. I will warn you if you go this rout, the dash behind the trim piece will need to be "altered". It is nothing you can see when the trim piece is there, but some people may have a problem altering their dash. I have only had it up for a couple of weeks, but so far it is working good.

I have my Iottie mounted to the window glass and made a rubber support to keep it stabilized.

    Yep. Done and done.

I actually have 2, one for phone, and one for ipad.

Or one for ipad and Spot mount.

Quick video of me trying to bounce my iPad mini of the mount. Never dropped once.

Anybody have a recommendation for the best bumper to use to push drivers out of the way that are too busy looking at their phones to drive?

Wow, that's cool, thanks for the heads up. Curious, have you tried it? I'd be curious what the image quality looked like.

I get your point if people are doing stupid stuff with their phones, but I only use mine for a GPS and never mess with it while driving. Where mine is mounted I guarantee it takes my eyes off the road less than an integrated GPS in the middle of the dash.

It mounts on a dash vent, goes on or off the vent in 1 second (you can just leave it on the vent though, it only covers a small portion), and holds your phone to it via magnet. It comes with a small metal plate you put in your cell phone case in the back, or, if you don’t have a case, it comes with a round metal stick-on disc.
